The largest and oldest technical University in Sweden is the KTH which provides not less than one-third of Sweden’s technical research and engineering education capacity at university level. Education and research spans from natural sciences to all branches of engineering and comprises architecture, industrial management and urban planning. There are a total of just over 15,000 first and second level students and more than 1,600 doctoral students.
The herewith tendered program is for pursuing postdoctoral degree level (to study Algebraic Topology). The Swedish and non-EU citizens can take the benefit of the offer which is to be taken at Sweden.
Candidates should have completed, or be about to complete, a doctoral degree in mathematics and show proven excellence or evidence of strong potential in their research in the field of algebraic topology. They should not have obtained their PhD degree before January 1, 2009. For non-EU citizens, a residence permit is required. Swedish language skills are not necessary.

The position is for one year, renewable for a second year, and will start on Sept 1, 2013, or as soon as possible thereafter.
It covers the salary of the position SEK 270,000 p.a., paid as a tax-free scholarship with health insurance. In addition, travel expenses up to SEK 25,000 p.a. can be covered.
