Benson and Carslaw Scholarships a graduate research level one, to be had at Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge in UK 2013

Commonwealth countries students, those who place the Emmanuel College as first preference on their application form are going to be tendered one or more scholarships “whereas some preferences will be for Australia and New Zealand” by prestigious University of Cambridge, Emmanuel College. The awards are having a basic value of £600 a year and part-cost awards (up to £4,000 a year). It’s a graduate research level program provided to study in English UK having a duration of 1-3 years

  • About the eligibility:-

Commonwealth Citizens only, some preference for Australia/New Zealand

-Graduate Students.

  • About the nationality:-

The students of Commonwealth countries, some preference for Australia/New Zealand, can submit an application for this scholarship.

  • About the invitation:-

The College makes three elections per annum to Research Fellowships, if applicants of adequate merit Emmanuel College-University of Cambridge present themselves. Tenure of the Fellowships will be for three years. Fellowships are normally awarded to postdoctoral candidates or to those nearing completion of their PhD work.

  • About the awards:-
  1. One or more scholarships will be offered each year to students.

  1. Scholarship is applicable for 1-3 years.

  1. The basic value of the awards will be £600 a year but larger part-cost awards (up to £4,000 a year) could be made in cases of need.

  1. Awards are available on a competitive basis.
  • About the applying procedure and the Deadline:-

Letter of application should be sent to Graduate Tutor electronically. Applications to be considered for such an award should be made to the Graduate Tutor, enclosing curriculum vitae, a statement of the proposed research, and a statement of other funding which is available or has been applied for. Applicants should also ask two referees to write direct to the Graduate Tutor on their behalf.

Applications must be received before June 30, 2013.
